Did The New York Rangers Secretly Trade Into The First Round?
Big props to Mark for tipping us off this this.

The above is a picture of the draft board at the Entry Draft in Buffalo. Only there’s something strange about it. Notice it yet? Let me help you.
The first picks are officially (in order from 1 to 15) Toronto, Winnipeg, Columbus, Edmonton, Vancouver, Calgary, Arizona, Buffalo, Montreal and Colorado, New Jersey, Ottawa, Carolina, Boston, Minnesota.
But in that photo the order is: Toronto, Winnipeg, Columbus, Edmonton, Vancouver, Calgary, Arizona, Buffalo, Islanders (from Montreal), Colorado, New Jersey Ottawa, Carolina, NYR (from Boston) then Minnesota.
Now is it possible both the Islanders and Rangers traded their way into the first round without telling anyone? Probably not. More than likely this is just practice in the event that there is a trade, but it is a little interesting to see something like this pop up. Especially since the Rangers are rumored to be trying to get into the first round.
Thoughts on this, guys? What kind of trade could pry Boston’s 1st round pick?
