The exact length of the suspension will be announced when the league establishes the conditions for resuming the league.
New York Rangers’ forward Brendan Lemieux will suspended by the NHL for his hit on Jonas Donskoi Wednesday against Colorado, according to the Department of Player Safety.

The hit in question was late, from a blind position, and involved head contact, so it’s pretty easy to see why the Department of Player Safety felt justified in handing out a suspension of some sort.

They have yet to rule on the length of suspension, and that is of course tied to the unknown conditions of when and under what conditions the league will return from its Corona Virus-induced hiatus.
