Miller was supposedly poised to join the Hartford Wolf Pack for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season on an amateur tryout agreement. Obviously, abrupt hiatus for practically every sports league, the AHL included, throws a wrench into this plan. Nobody knows what rules will be in place when the NHL and AHL continue this season, if it even happens, but Miller would theoretically be eligible to play for Hartford in the playoffs.
