Per Colin Stephenson, Jones and Libor Hajek will draw into the lineup. Jacob Trouba is out with an injury and Anthony Bitetto, who looked exceptionally rocky against the New York Islanders in the Rangers’ 6-1 loss on Tuesday, will be a healthy scratch. Stephenson is also reporting that Jones and Hajek will be the pair tonight, at least to start out. K’Andre Miller and Brendan Smith will be another pairing.

Zac Jones’ sophomore season by the numbers
Jones, 20, just won a national title with UMass-Amherst in his sophomore season and signed with the Rangers on April 13. He’s been on the taxi squad and practicing with the Rangers since inking his entry-level contract. He will be the third Rangers rookie defenseman to make his NHL debut this season — the other two being K’Andre Miller and Tarmo Reunanen. The moment that Jones steps on the ice the Rangers will have had six rookies, including Igor Shesterkin, play for them this season.
The Blueshirts play the Philadelphia Flyers tonight at MSG at 7:00 p.m. ET and will play them again tomorrow at the same time.
