Last week, Roberto brought an idea to that table that naturally, didn’t sit too well with many fans and understandably so. Artemi Panarin was arguably one of the biggest free agent signings not just in franchise history, but in league history. He came to New York to be a saving grace of sorts and, quite possibly, to remain a Ranger for the rest of his career.
However, given recent events, the Rangers do need to seriously consider all of their options and leave no stone unturned. In doing so, you have to imagine what a potential trade for Artemi Panarin could mean for the Rangers as they navigate towards the next iteration of this hockey club.
