Analytics Check In After 15 Games

Though it has been less than a quarter of the way through the regular season, the Rangers have had varying performances. The season opener against Pittsburgh was a strong start and a beatdown against Montreal showed us a team of contenders. But on the other side, there have been games with many turnovers, many shots against from dangerous areas, and many minutes without offensive chances. Watching the Rangers against the Jets, I started to think if the numbers would should any particularly story as the Rangers didn't play that bad throughout the game. There were a few moments where they looked disconnected, but the game wasn't out of reach and they had their fair share of O-Zone time. If this is the case for many of the 15 games (not all, but most), then the analytics should show a team that can compete with top teams.
