Artemiy Panarin named 2020 NHL All-Star

Today, the NHL announced that New York Rangers winger Artemiy Panarin has been selected as a 2020 NHL All-Star.

For the moment, Panarin is the only Ranger who will be attending the game. However, fans will be able to vote Mika Zibanejad in beginning on Jan. 1, 2020.
Zibanejad’s competition to be the Metropolitan Division’s 2020 NHL All-Star Last Man In are Claude Giroux, Teuvo Teravainen, Nick Foligno, Nico Hischier, Brock Nelson, Kris Letang, and T.J. Oshie.

Panarin has 51 points in 38 games this season, which is good for eighth in the league and first on the Rangers. The 2020 NHL All-Star Weekend will be held in St. Louis. The game itself takes place on Jan. 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
