Artemiy Panarin Named to 2019-20 NHL First All-Star Team.
The NHL just finished announcing the rest of the 2019-20 awards, and they also released the members of the first and second All-Star teams. Artemiy Panarin received 823 points (160 first-place votes, seven second-place votes, and two third-place votes) as the top left wing of the first All-Star team.

That team is rounded out with Leon Draisaitl at center, David Pastrnak at right wing, Roman Josi and John Carlson on defense, and Connor Hellebuyck in net.
Panarin the second left wing in Rangers history who has been named to the NHL’s First All-Star Team (along with Lynn Patrick in 1941-42). He is also the first Rangers left wing who has been named to the either of the NHL’s All-Star Teams since Adam Graves in 1993-94. #NYR

Panarin is the first #NYR skater who has been named to either of the NHL’s All-Star Teams since Marian Gaborik at right wing in 2011-12 (Second Team) and is the first NYR skater who has been named to the NHL’s First All-Star Team since Jaromir Jagr at right wing in 2005-06.
