Ashley Johnston Named Riveters Team Captain

The Riveters have named their first ever captain.

The New York Riveters have announced that defenseman Ashley "Stretch" Johnston, a graduate of Union Athletics, will serve as the club's first captain earlier today. Forwards Morgan Fritz-Ward and Madison Packer will serve as the team's alternate captains.

The New York Riveters next game is against the Boston Pride on November 15th at 7:00PM EST at Aviator Sports and Events Center. The Riveters are still looking for their first win of the season.
