Kreider day-to-day with neck strain, Lindberg making his return tonight
Looks like there is some more news regarding the New York Rangers’ lineup tonight for their game against the Arizona Coyotes.
Chris Kreider, who has been more or less unstoppable early this season, is out of the lineup and is listed as day-to-day.
OFFICIAL: #NYR Chris Kreider - neck strain out tonight (day to day). Dan Girardi & Oscar Lindberg return to the lineup. Lundqvist in goal.

Henrik Lundqvist will be back in net tonight for the Rangers after a masterful performance against the Washington Capitals on Saturday night.
And, surprisingly, Oscar Lindberg is healthy and ready to go. He’ll be taking Kreider’s spot in the lineup and playing in his first game of the 2016-17 season. Kreider’s absence is a very tough break, but it is encouraging to hear that Lindberg is up to speed and ready to go tonight.
Also, head coach Alain Vigneault offered some insight on why Adam Clendening is out of the lineup tonight with the return of Dan Girardi.
Vigneault said #NYR Adam Clendening "had a good game" vs. WSH "but there were a couple of touches with the puck that weren't as efficient."

It would have been interesting to see the Rangers scratch Josh Jooris and roll with seven defensemen tonight, but that isn’t the lineup that Vigneault wants. Kreider and Clendening are out and Lindberg and Girardi are in.
