Coronavirus Update: NHL Postpones Entry Draft, Combine, and Awards Show
The NHL announced the postponement of the June events in a press release today.
With the world in the middle of a global pandemic, the NHL announced today the postponement of three June events: the 2020 NHL Scouting Combine, the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, and the 2020 NHL Awards show. With the NHL regular season still postponed, and with no real end to the postponement one way or the other in sight, it made sense to push these events back as well. The Scouting Combine was set to take place between June 1-6 in Buffalo, the NHL Awards Show was slated for June 18th in Las Vegas, and the NHL Entry Draft was scheduled for June 27th in Montreal.
