This was easy to miss with all the hype surrounding the reveal of Lundqvist's much-deserved induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame this year, but the Rangers announced another small bit of news regarding their coaching staff.

The gold-medal winning coach of the 2023 U.S. U18 Men's National Team last worked in the NHL under Laviolette with the Nashville Predators. https://t.co/hLUpdJtSZB via @nypostsports
Muse has been with Laviolette before but aside from that has a lot of experience and success working with younger players. There hasn't been any other news regarding what roles he or Michael Peca will be taking on with the team, but it's encouraging to see the Blueshirts embrace individuals who excel with coaching skills and prospects. Laviolette talked quite a bit about getting Kakko and Lafrenière to the next level of their game, and this could indeed help them get there.
