Game #10: Carolina Hurricanes vs New York Rangers Open Thread

After sweeping a road trip of five or more games for the first time in franchise history, the Rangers have returned home from their longest road trip of the season for a Metropolitan Division clash with the Carolina Hurricanes.

As the two time defending division champions, the Hurricanes are off to yet another solid start with a 6-4-0 record through their first ten games of the season. While the five game road winning streak was a statement in and of itself, the Blueshirts are well positioned to send a message if they can manage to push their streak to six and earn another two standings points against their intra-divisional nemesis.

Player to Watch: Mika Zibanejad

After failing to find the net in the early portion of the season, Zibanejad has now scored in back to back games, including the overtime winner on Monday night in Winnipeg. Keep an eye on New York’s star center tonight as he looks to help his team win once again.

Enjoy the game!
