Game #17: New York Rangers vs Vancouver Canucks Open Thread
If you liked Sunday's late night hockey live from Seattle, you're going to love what the Rangers have in store tonight. The west coast road trip continues north of the border for Peter Laviolette's squad, and it'll be the Rangers paying the Vancouver Canucks a visit in a rematch of the 1994 Stanley Cup Final.
New York kicked off the road trip in the right foot as Jonathan Quick shut out the Seattle Kraken on Sunday, and it'll look to make it back-to-back road victories and three overall in a row against Jonathan Tanner Miller, Quinn Hughes, and the rest of the high flying Canucks.
Player to Watch: Zac Jones
With Victor Mancini back in AHL Hartford and Chad Ruhwedel with the big club to serve as the seventh defenseman, don't expect Jones to be sitting as a healthy scratch anytime soon. Jones found the back of the net in the Blueshirts' 2-0 victory over the Kraken and was one of the team's most effective players, so keep an eye on Jones tonight as he looks to crack the score sheet once again.
Enjoy the game!
