With the turmoil of their five-game losing streak in the rear view mirror, the Rangers will look to win consecutive games in the latest installment of the Hudson River Rivalry tonight. Tonight's contest will be the first meeting since the game opening line brawl the Rangers and Devils participated in that resulted in 166 penalty minutes combined.

While that contest featured a Devils team whose season was essentially over by then and a Presidents Tropy-bound Rangers team, both squads are currently jockeying for position in the Metropolitan Division. Tonight's game will also be the final one in an under the radar difficult stretch of the season for the Blueshirts, as Peter Laviolette's will take the ice for the firth time in eight days before a three day break beginning on Tuesday.

Player to Watch: Filip Chytil

After suffering an injury on November 14th and missing seven games, Filip Chytil returned to the lineup for New York's Saturday matinee against Montreal. Chytil didn't have particularly eventful performance in that affair, recording a lone shot on goal and going -1 while being held off the score sheet. Keep an eye on the young Czech star as he looks to continue to get back into the swing of things following his two week absence.

Enjoy the game!
