The New York Rangers are set to make franchise history. For the first time ever, the Rangers will take the ice in the state of Utah and look to end this three-game road trip on a high note. It'll be the Rangers and Utah Hockey Club squaring off at the Delta Center tonight as Peter Laviolette's squad soaks in a new atmosphere.

As the Hockey Club has been free of the off ice turmoil that plagued the former Arizona Coyotes, success has yet to follow. Utah is currently outside the playoff picture in the Western Conference, and its struggles on home ice are at the center of that issue. Entering play against the Rangers with a league-worst 6-10-4 home record, Utah has been susceptible to rough showings in its friendly confines, and the Blueshirts will look to take advantage of that. Utah won a back and forth, overtime thriller at Madison Square Garden in New York's home opener, so it'll be on the Rangers to get back into the win column following Tuesday's defeat.

Player to Watch: Chris Kreider

Kreider returned to the lineup on Tuesday after spending time on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury. It's been a rough showing for Kreider throughout the 2024-25 campaign thus far, so keep an eye on him tonight to see if New York's longest-tenured player can start to turn his season around tonight.
