Game Thread: New York Rangers vs New York Islanders

The New York Rangers are meeting up with the New York Islanders for the second time in a week, after the Islanders took the first meeting 7-5 at the Barclays Center. The Rangers are coming off of a solid defensive effort against the Dallas Stars, in which they earned a 2-1 win in regulation. The Rangers opted to make a lineup change prior to tonight’s game with Brady Skjei returning to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the previous two games.

On the other side of the ice, the Islanders are without Cal Clutterbuck as Ross Johnston replaces him in the lineup.
