Jacob Trouba Out 2-3 Weeks
Amidst the hoopla and activity of trade deadline day, some New York Rangers injury news has surfaced. Jacob Trouba, who has missed recent practices with a lower-body injury, will miss 2-3 weeks of action, per President and General Manager Chris Drury.
Trouba’s absence during a busy part of the schedule is obviously not ideal, but thankfully, the Rangers have a cushion when it comes to playoff positioning (even though they’re trying to hold off the hard-charging Carolina Hurricanes for first place in the Metropolitan Division). Plus, a little bit of incidental load management for Trouba might have some long-term benefits in the postseason.
