Jonathan Quick Wins 2025 Mr. Ranger Award
This season, Quick became the first U.S. born goaltender to hit the 400 win milestone, becoming the 15th goaltender in league history to do so.

Introduced in the 2020-21 season, the New York Rangers created the Rod Gilbert “Mr. Ranger” Award in honor of the late great, Rod Gilbert. The award recognizes a current Rangers player “who best honors Rod’s legacy both on and off the ice and making a significant humanitarian contribution to his community.” Receiving this year's award was veteran netminder, Jonathan Quick.

Previous winners include Adam Fox, Jacob Trouba and Chris Kreider who won it in its inaugural season.
In 18 starts this season, Quick has registered a record of 10-6-2 with 3 shutouts. Most notably, Quick became the first U.S. born goaltender to hit the 400 win milestone, becoming the 15th goaltender in league history to do so.
Since joining the team last season, Quick has established himself as a valuable veteran presence for this Rangers team. He has played a huge role in a number of team bonding events, mentoring young players and plays an active role with Garden of Dreams and other philanthropic endeavors.
