Lafrenière Out with Upper Body Injury

As the Blueshirts practiced today, the media quickly noticed the absence of their youngest star forward. It has since been announced Alexis Lafrenière will be out for a small yet undisclosed period.

There has not been any comment or confirmation on whether Lafrenière will miss any games, which could mean this label is just a precaution and the young player may not miss a step. With the team traveling to his home province of Quebec for a match against the Canadiens and the first rematch against the Stanley Cup Champion Panthers coming up this week, Lafrenière's chemistry on the second line is more needed than ever.

The team was still rolling four lines in his absence, with Rempe filling in for Lafrenière.

This isn't the official lineup by any means as the Blueshirts have multiple players that can slide up and down the lineup. In fact keeping the other lines in tact could make one think Lafrenière will be back sooner rather than later.
