Lafrenière Signs Two-Year Contract
The pick is finally in folks, or rather the contract. Larry Brooks just announced the news every Rangers fan in the world was waiting on, Lafrenière has been signed and the roster has now been completed.
Lafreniere signed for 2 years at $2.325 AAV, Post has learned.

The young winger was one point shy of forty last season, and that was with extremely limited power play time. With a new coach, and a revamped roster, the organization NEEDS to deploy Lafrenière in opportunities where he will succeed. If the Rangers are going to be a long term Stanley Cup contender, Lafrenière will need to take that next step. This contract, while some are already arguing it's one year too long, is the perfect chance to determine what the player and team's ceiling will be with this core roster.
