Lundkvist finished the tournament with one goal, seven assists, and 16 shots on goal in seven games for Sweden. As of today, he is the second-highest scoring defenseman in the WJC and finished second on scoring on Sweden’s blue line behind Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Rasmus Sandin. Lundkvist averaged 17:32 TOI/GP, which ranked second on Team Sweden behind only Sandin.
Henriksson picked up a goal and notched two assists in his seven appearances for Team Sweden. He finished the tournament with just four shots on goal, but that number is not altogether surprising for a pass-first center like Henriksson. He averaged 9:54 TOI/GP — the third-lowest average ice time among Team Sweden’s forwards.
Team Canada and Team Russia will play the gold medal game of the 2020 WJC Today.
