Sadly the unstoppable Michael Grabner’s grandmother has passed away. He is heading to Austria for the funeral. Grabner’s absence leaves the Rangers with a huge hole in the lineup which is compounded by J.T. Miller continuing to battle his way through his knee injury.
Grabner has a death in his family, will not play for #NYR tomorrow...Hrivik will play vs. #Isles and either Lindberg or Jooris will sit

It has been interesting to watch how this organization values Oscar Lindberg and where they rank him in the depth chart. The 25-year-old Swede has played in 11 games this season after missing time with his hip injury and has grown accustomed to watching his team play from the press box.
Right now it appears that either Lindberg or Josh Jooris will be out of the lineup for the Blueshirts tomorrow in favor of Hrivik and Matt Puempel.
Hrivik leads all Wolf Pack players in points this season. He will be subject to waiver claims if and when he is sent back down to the minors.
