This can’t be good
Mika Zibanejad and Henrik Lundqvist did not practice with the New York Rangers today and are both considered day-to-day.

Zibanejad left last night’s game at the Garden against the Boston Bruins after getting rocked by Bruins’ captain Patrice Bergeron with a reverse-hit. Lundqvist was on the receiving end of a dramatic collision that occurred 11 seconds into the second period. He did not play in the third period after allowing four goals on 31 shots.
Zibanejad clocked just 6:31 TOI/GP in last night’s game before being forced to leave the game. Per the Rangers, he is considered day-to-day with an upper body injury. Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post has reported that the Rangers don’t believe the Swedish center has suffered a concussion. Here’s a look at the hit that knocked him out of the game.

The Rangers play the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. EDT at the Garden. If Zibanejad is unable to play — which looks like the most likely scenario at the moment — the Rangers’ lack of depth down the middle will be on full display against a team that is widely considered to be a Cup contender.
