Mika Zibanejad is looking forward to joining the Rangers
Or, in his words, "a historic and first class organization."
All Mika Zibanejad has really known is the Ottawa Senators. Since being drafted by them sixth overall in the 2011 NHL Draft, they're the only NHL organization he's ever played for. He did go back to Sweden after he was drafted, but since then, he's spent four solid seasons in the Ottawa area, scoring 64 goals and 151 points over 281 games for just one organization.
Well, plus some time with Sweden's international team, including the 2011 World Junior Championship golden goal in a game in which Russian goaltender Andrey Makarov nearly committed highway robbery well into overtime:
But now, Zibanejad is moving on to his second NHL team, and he's definitely ready.

He also definitely needs to charge his phone.
The Rangers absolutely carry a certain level of prestige through the league, so doubt it has to be exciting to play for this franchise. Here's to Zibanejad putting on a fantastic show at Madison Square Garden!
