More offseason speculation; Latest on the Riveters; Zuccarello a Masterton finalist
Today's New York Rangers notes
May has finally arrived, and while warm weather and sunshine might be on the agenda for most people, clouds still hang over the Rangers' following a disappointing end to their 2016 campaign.
It was becoming quite the norm seeing New York continue to fight post April, but an early elimination unfortunately has us watching hockey stress-free again.
I was born on June 14, 1995, so while the spring of '94 would "last a lifetime" for some, mine hadn't even started yet. My first witness of playoff success was during the 2012 playoffs, where the Rangers were eliminated by New Jersey Devils in the conference finals. That year set up the Rangers to be favorites in multiple seasons that followed, but continuously coming up empty handed has inevitably caused a regression in team success.
