Stanley Cup Playoffs: 4/17/17 Open Thread
Another day, another night of playoff hockey around the NHL. After last night’s horrific loss against the Montreal Canadiens, there’s nothing like some neutral playoff hockey to wash the taste of a bad defeat out of your mouth. With four games on tap for tonight, including the first playoff game in Toronto since 2013, there’s no reason to move from the couch tonight. So pick a game, set your TiVo to record the other three, and don’t touch that clicker, because there’s a long night of playoff hockey ahead. Tonight’s games are as follows:
Washington Capitals at Toronto Maple Leafs Game 3 (Seried Tied 1-1) Puck is scheduled to drop at 7:00 EDT on NBCSN
Ottawa Senators at Boston Bruins Game 3 (Series Tied 1-1) Puck is scheduled to drop at 7:00 PM EDT on CNBC
Chicago Blackhawks at Nashville Predators: Game 3 (NSH leads 2-0) Puck is scheduled to drop at 9:30 EDT on CNBC
Anaheim Ducks at Calgary Flames: Game 3 (ANA leads 2-0) Puck is scheduled to drop at 10:30 EDT on NBCSN
Watching the Rangers lose last night sucked. Watching them lose tomorrow night and trudge back into the Bell Centre in a 3-1 hole is going to suck even more. But that’s for tomorrow. Tonight, just enjoy stress free playoff hockey, and Let’s Go Predators!
