Crabb People...
The Rangers have shed a contract and acquired depth forward Joey Crabb in exchange for prospect Andrew Yogan and depth blueliner Steven Kampfer.

It goes without saying, but the real reason this trade was made was to create space for the roster of Anthony Duclair, who will be with the Rangers when their NHL season gets underway on October 9th against the St. Louis Blues. As of the writing of this article, the last obstacle in the way of Duclair making his debut against the Blues is out of the way. It comes at the expense of Kampfer who was underwhelming in camp and in the preseason and the never-quite-put-it-together Andrew Yogan. Best of luck to both players in the Florida Panthers' organization. I always liked Yogan but there is no denying that the production simply wasn't there for the big forward. Hopefully a change of scenery will help him get closer to his NHL dream.
Crabb is a depth forward that will almost certainly be playing his hockey in Hartford... and Anthony Duclair is now a lock for a spot on the Rangers' opening night roster. Let's do this thing.
Let's go Rangers! DUKE!!!
