Robertson was selected by the Rangers with the draft pick acquired from the Dallas Stars in the Mats Zuccarello trade, and is currently a member of the Edmonton Oil Kings of the WHL.
The 6’4”, 201-pound rear guard has tallied 58 points in 129 WHL games, and will turn 19 in March of 2020. He is in his second season as an alternate captain for the Oil Kings, and a defenseman the Rangers hope can be a key part of the left side in the years to come.
Robertson came in at No. 7 overall during Adam’s Blueshirt Banter Prospect Rankings this past summer, and you can read more about him here.
