Alexandar Georgiev & Brendan Lemieux File For Salary Arbitration
Earlier today it was reported that Ryan Strome and Tony DeAngelo filed for salary arbitration, and the NHLPA just released a list of all the players who filed that also includes Alexandar Georgiev and Brendan Lemieux.

Like Strome and DeAngelo, both players in this case elected arbitration, which means that the Rangers can decide whether or not the award is for one or two years.
Georgiev is 24 and has just 77 games of experience to his name, and is coming off an entry-level deal that saw him count $792,500 against the salary cap.
Lemieux is also 24 and has 131 games of experience, and made $925,000 this past season after re-signing with the Rangers after being acquired from the Winnipeg Jets.
The Rangers have not made it to an arbitration case with a player since 2009, and I would expect deals to get done with Georgiev and Lemieux outside of arbitration.
It should also be noted that Phil Di Giuseppe did not file for arbitration, and that could mean he and the Rangers are close to a new deal of some kind for close to league minimum with some flexibility to send him to Hartford if needed. Stay tuned for more on that front.
