New York Rangers News: Martin Biron Starting Tomorrow Against St. Louis

Henrik Lundqvist will be getting the night off in St. Louis, and Martin Biron will be taking his place in between the pipes.

According to Steve Zipay of Newsday, Martin Biron will be starting in goal tomorrow night when the New York Rangers take on the St. Louis Blues. Biron was expected to get at least one start during this western road swing, so it's not much of a surprise to see him getting the nod for tomorrow night. Henrik Lundqvist started the first four games of this young season, and definitely hasn't been playing up to the level that he is capable of. Hopefully Biron can clean up some of the mess the Rangers left over these last two games.

Maybe starting Biron Saturday night in St. Louis is just what the doctor ordered. The Rangers confidence level is at an all time low right now, and something needs to shift the momentum back in their favor. Biron has been known to be very vocal while he is manning the net, as well as slowing down the game with his puck handling ability. Maybe that calming figure is just what the Rangers need to get back on track.

Either way, the Rangers will be rolling with the same exact lineup against the Blues, and hopefully for the sake of our sanity, we'll see the same team that showed up against the Los Angeles Kings
