New York Rangers News: Rangers Sign Dylan McIlrath To One-Year Deal
The Rangers agreed to terms with RFA defenseman Dylan McIlrath
According to the New York Rangers -- again, breaking their own news -- the team had agreed to terms with 2010 first round pick Dylan McIlrath. The agreement is for one year and per Larry Brooks it carries a $600K cap hit.

McIlrath is in an interesting situation this year, since he would have to pass through waivers if he does not make the team out of camp. I speculated earlier this summer if this was the end of McIlrath on Broadway, but re-signing him was a must if the Rangers want to eventually move him/see if he makes the team.
This move comes after Jeff Gorton re-signed Emerson Etem and Oscar Lindberg on Tuesday. Jesper Fast, J.T. Miller and Derek Stepan are the final RFA names on Gorton's radar this summer.
