New York Rangers Open Thread: Rangers Vs. Penguins
The New York Rangers will take on the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at the CONSOL Energy Center, starting at 7:00 PM.
The New York Rangers will be returning to action tonight after they had a two day break, and will be taking on the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:00 PM. Ryan Callahan will be returning to the lineup after missing approximately three and a half weeks with an MCL sprain in his leg. As a result, J.T. Miller will be the odd man out of the lineup tonight courtesy of Callahan. Henrik Lundqvist will get his third consecutive start for the Rangers, while Marc-Andre Fleury will get the nod for the Penguins.
Player To Watch:
There's no surprise that the Rangers will be looking to feed off of the captain's energy tonight in his triumphant return. This will be the third time Callahan has missed time with an injury this season, so it'll be interesting to see how quickly he engages himself tonight.
