Lindgren has 12 assists in 63 games with the Wolf Pack this year. He’s still searching for his first goal of the season after scoring two goals in the 10 games he played with Hartford last season. Although it is worth mentioning that in his 67 games at the University of Minnesota he picked up just three goals and 13 assists. In other words, offensive production has never been a big part of his game.
The Minnesota native plays a punishing brand of hockey. He has racked up 92 penalty minutes with the Wolf Pack this season and has picked up six penalty minutes in the three games he’s played with the Rangers this year. He was last called up to the big club on Jan. 14 after playing 35 games with the Wolf Pack.
