New York Rangers scrimmage highlights: More of what we saw from Sunday

We already went over all the goals from the Rangers' Sunday scrimmage. Here are a few other plays you may have missed.

Earlier, we showed you pretty much all the occurred during the Rangers intrasquqad scrimmage on Sunday, and this should just about wrap it up.

Henrik Lundqvist and Cam Talbot started the contest for their respective teams, and both looked very good. As Jim Cerny said on the stream, Talbot was pretty monumental to the Rangers' success last season, and entering his sophomore campaign, there will be plenty of eyes on Talbot to see if the Rangers backup can replicate the kind of performance he had in his first season.

Talbot looked steady in his period-plus of work on Sunday, and showed off his good lateral mobility on this sequence, stopping Carl Hagelin who got a few whacks at the post.

Lundqvist was steady as well, although he wasn't tested much. Here's a save he made on a Derick Brassard penalty shot in the first period.

A few things to take away from this next highlight, which ends in a Lundqvist save. Anthony Duclair, who again was given a chance to play with some very talented linemates, makes a great pass to hit Rick Nash in stride through the neutral zone. Nash blew right by John Moore, ascending in on Lundqvist, and forced a good save off a strong slap shot.

Speaking of John Moore, he and Brassard got into a little playful wrestling match behind the net, which resulted in Brassard being awarded a penalty shot. Moore played his game with a pretty visible edge, especially considering it was a scrimmage. Look at Brassard and Moore: they love each other.
