The 2022 fourth-round pick has had a successful college career, helping the Tigers quickly build a thriving NCAA hockey program. Over three seasons with the Tigers, Laba scored 85 points in 100 games. He's been nominated for the Hobey Baker award and took home multiple other divisional NCAA trophies recognizing him for his defensive ability and excellent two-hundred-foot game. We recently wrote about Laba and his development earlier this year, check it out if you want an in depth view of his background, development and what he brings to the New York Rangers organization.
It's likely Laba will sign an Amateur Tryout Agreement with the Wolf Pack to finish off this season in the AHL, we'll be sure to update you on his progress in Hartford if and when that happens.
