Artemiy Panarin Finishes As Runner Up in Ted Lindsay Award Voting
The NHL just announced winners of its major awards, and Artemiy Panarin finished as a runner up in the Ted Lindsay Award voting for the 2019-20 season. Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers finished in first.

This award is voted on by the NHLPA, whereas the Hart Trophy is voted on by the Professional Hockey Writers Association.
Panarin’s 2019-20 campaign was a strong one, as he finished:
- 1st in points at even strength (71)
- 1st in GAR per Evolving Hockey (24.9)
- 2nd in assists (63)
- 3rd in points (95)/
His win would have been well deserved based on the level or productivity and intensity he brought to the Rangers, and it will be nice to see what he’s capable of next season in what, hopefully, is an 82-game season.
