The Rangers selected another 20-year-old overager in Dominik Lakatos out of the Czech Republic. Lakatos is a forward who represented his country in the 2017 World Juniors (U-20) tournament, where he tallied 5 points in 8 games. Similar to the team’s earlier selection in Filip Chytil, he is a young kid playing in Czech Republic’s top “grown man’s” league. Lakatos was apart of Czech Extraliga’s 2017 champion team: Bili Tygri Liberec.
