He has 183 games of NHL experience and has played for three teams over the last two seasons — the other two being the Nashville Predators and the Minnesota Wild.

Bitetto is a hard-hitting left-handed defenseman from Island Park, NY. He played his college hockey at Northeastern University and has split his pro career between the NHL and AHL. The Nashville Predators selected him 168th overall in the 2010 Draft.
Bitetto is the third AHL-level player the Rangers have signed today — excluding Jack Johnson.
