NHL Free Agency: Open Thread v2
Here is your second open thread for today's free agent festivities.
We're just about three hours into the free agent frenzy, and we've seen some pretty ridiculous contracts being handed our around the league. Easily the biggest splash of the day was Daniel Alfredsson leaving the Ottawa Senators to jump on board with the Detroit Red Wings.
Ryane Clowe also jumped ship, and crossed the river to sign a 5-year year deal with the New Jersey Devils. So far, the Rangers haven't made any noise, and aren't expected to with their salary cap restrictions, and the need to re-sign their big restricted free agents.
