Rangers Recall Vinni Lettieri from Hartford Wolf Pack
Lettieri rejoining Rangers now that the bye week is over
The Rangers sent down Vinni Lettieri on Monday because the team was on a bye week. New York is back in action on Saturday vs. the Islanders and the team announced the return of Lettieri late Friday morning.

Lettieri skated for the Wolf Pack during Wednesday’s 2-1 victory over Bridgeport and tallied three shots during the contest.
The recall of Lettieri may suggest than Kevin Hayes won’t be available on Saturday, but right now the move make sense considering he was only sent down because of the bye week. Lettieri has a goal and an assist in three games, and is averaging 12:51 per game.
