Rick Nash did score a hat trick last night.
According to the NHL and New York Rangers, the league changed the scoring on last night's fourth goal from Martin St. Louis to Rick Nash. The goal was Nash's third of the game for his first hat trick as a New York Ranger. The assists go to Derek Stepan and Derick Brassard -- which gave Brassard three assists in the game.

St. Louis clearly takes a swipe at the puck, but if you look at the overhead replay the puck is deflected into the net by Braden Holtby. The goal gives Nash 23 goals on the year (in 32 games) which puts him two behind Tyler Seguin for the NHL's lead.
We all knew it should happen, but now it's official. Merry Christmas, Nash!
