OFFICIAL: Rangers Sign Kaapo Kakko to Entry-Level Contract
The New York Rangers have officially signed 2019 second-overall selection Kaapo Kakko to an entry-level contract, the team announced Thursday.

This was mostly a formality, as everyone expects Kakko to be on the roster opening night. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet, but it would be wise to assume that he’s getting the maximums in terms of entry-level salary and signing bonuses. Assuming so, his cap hit will be $925,000 for the next three seasons (assuming no performance bonus overage penalties).
UPDATE: As anticipated, Cap Friendly is reporting that Kakko has received the maximum allowable entry-level contract.
