Pre-Season Game #3: New York Rangers vs New Jersey Devils Open Thread
The New York Rangers are fresh off a victory over the Boston Bruins, and tonight take on their across the river rival the New Jersey Devils. As is tradition with early pre-season contests, tonight’s lineup will consist of a combination of regular players and camp hopefuls, with only a few lines that are expected to make it to the regular season.
Here are the lines from the team’s most recent practice.

Tonight Vitali Kravtsov will get a look on the top line with Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider, and it will likely be one of Kreider’s last games on the left side as the Rangers are expected to try him out on the right wing to start the season.
Player to Watch: Barclay Goodrow
Goodrow was ejected from the Rangers’ first preseason game, so tonight is an opportunity for him to show what he’s truly capable with Filip Chytil and Julien Gauthier. The Rangers acquired and signed Goodrow to a six-year deal, and he’s expected to be a versatile part of their lineup for the foreseeable future.
Enjoy the game!
