Rangers Announce Roster Cuts, Preseason Game vs. Isles Postponed
The weather in New York City and the surrounding area is absolutely dreadful with flooding all over, and tonight’s preseason game vs. the New York Islanders will now be played on Saturday.
Anyone that’s been on Twitter today has probably seen some form of the chaos that’s been caused by the surge of rain that’s come down, and this decision made a ton of sense.
We hope that everyone in the impacted areas remains safe, and those having to travel today do so safely.
In addition to this news, the Rangers also have reduced their number of players in camp.
The Rangers also placed some players on waivers, all of whom should be assigned to Hartford with ease.
There are no real surprises here, and for now it would appear that Jonny Brodzinski has the 13th forward job locked up pending a surprise the rest of the way during the preseason.
