Rangers Announce That Igor Shesterkin and Pavel Buchnevich Were in Car Accident
Buchnevich is day-to-day, Shesterkin to be reevaluated in two weeks.
This morning John Davidson announced that Igor Shesterkin and Pavel Buchnevich were involved in a car accident on Sunday.

Buchnevich, who was a passenger in the car, was described as being shaken up, and is day-to-day. Shesterkin, who was driving the car, has a small upper body non-displaced rib fracture, and will be reevaluated in two weeks.

At this point there is no knowing how long Shesterkin will be out, and even if the team gets good news in two weeks, there’s no telling if he’ll go back in goal. For now we will play the waiting game, and can be very thankful that both avoided serious injuries.
