With Rookie Camp nearing its end and the first official preseason game less than a week away, the Rangers have officially announced their 2024-25 Training Camp Roster and Schedule. Official Camp kicks off this Wednesday, September 18th with off-ice testing and will continue into on-ice skates the following day. Their first preseason game is scheduled for 5 pm this Sunday against the Boston Bruins at the T.D. Garden. The team will play a total of six games with the last one falling on October 4th.

You can check out the full official release from the team's website right here.
The full preseason schedule is as follows:
Sunday September 22 at BOS (5:00 PM ET)
Tuesday September 24 vs. NYI (7:00 PM ET)
Thursday September 26 vs. BOS (7:00 PM ET)
Monday September 30 at NJD (7:00 PM ET)
Tuesday October 1vs. NJD (7:00 PM ET)
Friday October 4 at NYI (7:00 PM ET
In terms of the roster, there aren't a ton of surprises. It includes a total of 63 skaters with 36 forwards, 21 defensemen and six goaltenders. The roster includes all players under contract (or under a PTO), most of the names that attended rookie camp as well as a couple of extra invites I'll look to take a deeper dive into later this week. An exciting week ahead as we're one step closer to the 2024-25 season.
