Rangers Assign Adam Edström to Hartford Wolf Pack
The Wolf Pack bring in some size from Sweden.
The Hartford Wolf Pack have added another reinforcement as they make a push for the playoffs.
Adam Edström is a 6'8" forward that was selected in the 6th round of the 2019 draft (161st overall), and is coming off a career year with Rögle BK in which he posted a line of 9-10-19 in 42 regular season games.
In 189 SHL games he posted a line of 23-25-48, and it is abundantly clear he's not someone to be counted on as an offensive contributor. We've seen the Rangers and the Wolf Pack cycle players like him before, and at times it almost feels like there's hope to catch lighting in a bottle with one of these big boys.
Edström signed his ELC last May, and it stands to reason he'll skate in the AHL or ECHL going forward as the team tries to see what he's capable of in the long run.
