Rangers Draft Nathan Aspinall 159th Overall
With their fifth-round pick, the Rangers have made their obligatory selection of a very tall guy. This time, it's left winger Nathan Aspinall.

Aspinall posted 18-16-34 in 65 games for the Flint Firebirds of the OHL this past season. This represented a significant jump up from his 1-4-5 line in 29 games in 2022-23.
Most notably, Aspinall is 6-foot-7, joining a long list of towering mid-to-late-round Rangers draft picks in recent years. At only 190 pounds, the 18-year-old has room to fill out his tall frame.
The Rangers love to take swings on players with size, so Aspinall is their latest project in this regard.
