Rangers Draft Rico Gredig 191st Overall
To close out their 2024 draft, the New York Rangers selected forward Rico Gredig in the sixth round, 191st overall.

Gredig, an over-ager at 19 years old, comes out of HC Davos of the Swiss National League. He played 17 games for Davos in the U20-Elit league, where he compiled a scoring line of 7-8-15, before he moved to the National League and picked up 2-2-4 in 28 contests.

Gredig was the captain of the Swiss U20 team and has experience against men in the NL. He plays a strong defensive game with shades of Ryan Hartman. Can add power to a 4th line and potentially some offensive punch in a higher role. https://t.co/ItXsZZG2t7
With the draft wrapped up, attention now shifts to free agency opening on Monday, and potential moves leading up to that over the next couple of days.
